Mission Desk

From the Mission Promoter – UK & Ireland

Our RNDM UK & Ireland Mission Desk supports the mission of the Congregation worldwide.  To quote our RNDM Constitutions Article 35:

Through various forms of education and social ministry we respond to the

needs of people, especially marginalised women and children and those

who are poor and oppressed. We enable them to live with dignity and respect

and to take their rightful place in society.

Sharing our RNDM mission is not necessarily asking for money but rather telling the stories of the fantastic missionary work of the Sisters worldwide.  It is through this sharing that we encourage and invite others to join with us in partnership in mission.  Each year we create a Christmas Catalogue covering four specific projects from different Countries where RNDM Sisters live and work.  We share this with our donors, schools, parishes, and others who wish to be part of this partnership.  We are grateful to the many people, who support with prayer; who assist in giving life; and who help with education and development of so many destitute women and children.

Partnership with and between schools is encouraged, with particular emphasis on sharing of knowledge, understanding, and respect for children and young adults of different cultures. We encourage mutually beneficial interaction, establishing partnership with groups who have an interest in humanitarian support between schools/projects for cultural exchange, empowerment of women, children, and young adults to have better opportunities. We participate in the RNDM Child Sponsorship Program and are grateful to the people who already sponsor a child for education and development.

A quarterly International Newsletters provides information of our missionary work.
