The year of Consecrated Life

This year is a special year for the Salvatorian Fathers because they are celebrating their Missionary year. On Wednesday 15th April, the Sisters from the Wealdstone communities were invited to a Mass in St Joseph’s Church to mark the end of their Chapter.
We have also joined with them in planning events in honour of the Year of Consecrated life.
Liz Hartigan will be speaking on Consecrated Life in St. Joseph’s Church at three of the Masses on 26th April, National Vocations Day. A Display Board has been placed at the main entrance of the Church by Rose Mary Harbinson and Liz Hartigan.
Madeleine Barlow RNDM from the Australian Province spent some time in Wealdstone, Beech Court and Sturry. She felt energised by walking the journeys of Euphrasie, meeting many of the Sisters who have been on different Missions in the Congregation. In her card, she said “I have loved my time in Wealdstone, Sturry and Deal – a rich RNDM Community experience. I return home with fond memories of all the Sisters here having experienced in them the vibrant missionary zeal of Euphrasie”.
